Group Health Plan & Health Savings Accounts

Company-Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability.

These plans have been put in place by Fosdick to protect employees who are unable to work due to a non-occupational injury or illness. 

Paid Time Off Plan

Paid time off is mutually beneficial. It gives employees flexibility within their schedules for much-needed respite from their weekly work routines, while ensuring workers are well-rested and at their best so the company can move forward in executing its vision of excellence. Employees earn paid time off in addition to company paid holidays.

Six Company Observed Holidays PLUS a Birthday Holiday

Eligible Fosdick employees receive paid days off in observation of the following holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas

Employees will also receive a Birthday holiday in addition to earned PTO, to be used during the month of your birthday.

Company-Paid Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance

Life insurance can provide families with financial support and security in the unfortunate event of an employee death. With life insurance, loved ones have one less thing to worry about if the worst were to happen.

AD&D insurance also provides a benefit for employees who sustain a covered, accidental injury such as speech, hearing, or sight loss; loss of limb; or loss of thumb and index finger. 

Employee Assistance Programs

Our Employee Assistance Program provides confidential, 24/7 support, as well as resources and referrals for every aspect of employees’ work and personal lives, including:

• Online resources for parents of children with developmental disabilities, as well as assistance with referrals for child and elder care.
• Employee financial counseling, estate planning, and related services in the event of a life-threatening illness or death.

Free Flu Shots

Each year we partner with a local agency or hospital to provide free flu shots to our employees.

Scholarship Programs

For children, legal wards, and grandchildren of all full-time, regular employees who are about to start or are currently enrolled in a full-time, post-secondary education program.  Employees with one or more years of continuous service by April of the scholarship year are eligible to apply.

Employee of the Month Recognition

Nominees for Employee of the Month must be non-exempt, full or part-time employees who have been employed with the company for at least six (6) months. The employee should be deserving of the recognition that this award symbolizes. 

Job Opportunities Program

Our job opportunity program gives our employees a means of pursuing other job interests within the company by providing full transparency of openings in other departments or facilities.

Credit Union Membership

Our partnerships assist interested employees in enrolling in area credit union membership programs.

Service Awards

Service awards are presented to all employees as a ‘Thank you” for their service. For each year a ‘gift’ is not presented, employees will receive a certificate of achievement.

Attendance Awards

Cash rewards for full and part-time, non-exempt office and operational employees who have no absences or incidents of tardiness/leaving early over the course of a consecutive three (3) month period.
